How to find your drawing style

I often say on the ComicLab podcast: ”It’s hard to drive towards an art style that you want. Usually, it’s something you see in the rearview mirror.”

I wanted to draw like John Buscema. Or Berke Breathed. Or both. But everything I put on paper looked… terrible.

So, I started a decades-long process to find my drawing style…
